Just before the October half term, I attended a course on Hypopressives which focuses on breathwork and pelvic floor health and function. It was a great course that blends in beautifully with the other movement modalities that I teach and will add another layer of what I can offer to my clients.
It meant going back to the books to really get to grips with the anatomical, muscular and fascial continuities in the body for me to really understand exactly what is going on and looking at the far-reaching connections that are affected through the body – I love a bit of in-depth learning and its always good to go back to previous things I have learnt to refresh on things.
Looking forward to working through this material and to become a fully qualified teacher in Hypopressives, but in the meantime will look forward to sprinkling a bit of the concepts into my regular classes.
